Mirror Mirror on the Wall

Whenever you look at a group photo with you in it,

your focus will always be on yourself.

The same goes for your reflection in the mirror.

The key to taking your own picture in front of the mirror

is to look at the camera's reflection in the mirror, not yourself.

Got it Dii?

Face on the Floor

Slumber Party

Dii & Mii had a peaceful Friday night without me while I slumber partied at my Grands with Josh. We played, ate and sang karaoke. Good fun. So, while i was not with them, this happened. Tthey were walking on the street,

Mii: OH NO, our baby is on the floor!
Dii: What? WHERE? huh??
Mii: On the floor on the floor!
Dii: *confused*
Mii: Look! *pointing to the floor* our baby! face down! so sad... what if someone step on it?

This is what happens when my face is on the tissue packet. Someone is bound to drop it or throw it away when it is emptied. There I was, on the tissue pack, face down on the street floor.

Bare Butt

- Picture censored -

I refuse to put on disposable diapers. Having not been potty trained, going diaperless is far from desired. Though at one point Mii wondered if I am one of those who are naturally potty trained without her going through the process. She did not wait to find out the answer and convinced me to use a pull up pampers. The next change however was coupled of screams and tears.

What phase of toddler-hood is this???

Hair Woes

A tainted past of my mother's.

Mii grew up with Grandma B being the first in line hairdresser for all her hair trimming needs. Depending on the sucess, or more often, the failure rate, the salon is second in line. If this is not the worst, Aunt E somehow managed to get her hands on my mother's hair. In Great Grandma's kitchen, seated on a stool, draped with newspaper over her shoulders, Mii's long tresses were snipped bluntly to what was supposed to be a bob. With no shape and body Grandma B decided to try out her skills attempting a boy's cut. Failed big time. Salon came to the rescue, by which Mii looked like a pretty boy. The good that came out of it was the neighbouring boys - whom Mii has never spoken with all those years - started playing badminton with her. All because she looked like one of them.

This is the story behind why, other than my haircut at Fantastic Sams, I never had a second haircut. Mii is too cheapo to pay for another toddler cut when she believes if all i need is a fringe trim, she could do it. Yet she is reluctant to pick up the scissors. Neither does she allow Grandma B to do any snipping.

Looking forward to a
shaggy Christmas.
Not.

Free Ride

This is a hitchiker who paid for the petrol. Great.
I was on the driver's seat of this hotdog ride when this little buddy boarded it and offered to drive me. Mii directed him to the seat behind, after all I was on it first. He went on to insert a dollar coin and gave me a treat. Mii was utterly embarrassed.

Oops I did it again...

8.00 am Dii gave us a morning kiss before he set off for work

8.05am Dii returned and asked Mii if she had seen his keys

8.25am Dii & Mii turned the house upside down - no keys

8.30am I woke up with a smile :)

8.35am Mii asked if I know where are Dii's keys

8.36am I pointed to my sports car, Dii lifted the car, &

Mummy laughed, Daddy speechless. I hungry.

Finally missing things can be found.

That is if I caused it to go missing.

Experts advise not to make your beds to allow mattresses to breathe. Cooping it under the quilt makes mattress moist and promotes dustmite growth. Needless to say, we never had issues with dust mites!

Magic Carpet

This is my place mat when I am in The Rock foyer during church services. We use it to catch any spills from my lunchbox. Barefoot, I used to sit on it. Half a month ago, I dive onto it. Last week, I forgot about it. Its funny how the adults around it start feeling the material, look on the underside or test if it tears easily (kidding) when we step away!

Build - A - Bear

Daddy went to build a bear for me.

He hand picked an empty bear, held a token heart in his hand, made a silent wish*, stuff it in the bear, fill it with stuffings, stitch it up, brushed the fur, picked out the outfit, personliased a birth certificate, named it ChaCha and brought it home to me.

He did all this alone. Kinda odd we thought.

Looking Alike

Forget about opposites attracting.

We like people who look like us,

because they tend to have personalities similar to our own.

Researchers have found that

the longer couples stay together,

the more they look like each other.

This is apparently due to facial similarities

involved in attraction as well as shared experiences.

I like this couple.
