It's a Snack?

Aunt El and Joshua were riding in the back of our car with me. During the ride I handed her something.

Aunt El: Oh it's a snack. Thank you.

(She promptly took a bite.)

Me: It's a snack?! I want!

(I took it back and ate it up.)

Aunt El: You didn't know it's a snack?! Where did you get it from?

Me: There!

(I dug up another piece of Cap'n Crunch from the side of my car seat, under my bum.)

There! There! There! There! There!

In all I dug up six pieces of months old remains of my spilled snack.

As Aunt El was getting hysterical, Josh spoke.

Josh: Thats why... I didn't take.

Wish we were still there.

Miss gazing into the horizon,

the splashing of the waves,

and the soft sand under our feet

in the cool breeze.

Took off on an Aeroplane

See you in a week and a half!

Study Interrupted

A bare dining table except for study materials and one cup soon amassed a table full of toys. Approximately a dozen trips were taken to fill the table. Surrounding the table includes a shopping bag, toys storage container, and my brother, whom i dragged down some steps to stand behind Mii while she attempts to, struggle to, and not surprisingly, fail to study. But, she feels the love. Trash the books and lets have a tea party.
