Expressions Alive
This is not my most passionate presentation of my various expressions, as it was called for in the midst of my planting some mung bean seeds. The novelty has worn off me, so i am not doing anymore live presentation, here is a dated version for your entertainment.

Clear instructions were given for all to display a funny face.

I Spy the Cat
Is the cat still there?
A stray cat at the playground kept me from alighting my ride. Unknowingly, I have developed an aversion for animals. If you wonder why we do not visit the zoo, this is why.

Lost - Wedding Band & Diamond Ring
Five minutes after we stepped into the house, Mii realised her left hand is empty, with two missing rings.
Mii: Oh no, where are my rings? I lost my rings.
Me: What happened Mummy?
Mii: I lost my rings.
Me: No worry, wear another ring la.
She went out to the supermarket - her last location to search for the ring, and once she came back through the door.
Me: Where is your ring Mummy?
Mii: Cannot find.
Me: No worry, you can wear my ring, my princess ring.

Supermarket Spree
One minute dash for all you can fill in the trolley.
This is the same grocer where Aunt El brought Mii to go for cookies/cake baking ingredients shopping almost two decades ago. Who needs a toy trolley at home when you can go for a real one, where you fill with your favourite food, and do a real checkout. Wonderful.

Be Kind
One day, a very well groomed lady walked by Grandma B and me. This lady was all smiles and going "oh sooo cute" at me. Grandma, being polite, told me to greet her as auntie. Then Grandma figured the lady must be around her age. So she corrected me and had me greet her as popo instead. I have never seen a smile turn into a frown that quickly. Some mistakes are just not meant to be corrected.

First Day of School
Playgroup on to Nursery One.
Mildly private announcement.
I am officially diaper-free. Most times at least. The months of initial reluctance to go diaper free despite my ability to anticipate shh shh was finally overcomed before the new year. It was fairly fuss free for Mii as the teachers in school were a huge factor in this milestone. They were patient and encouraged me to go diaper free. Then it was Mii who needed training. She started at Joshua's home parties, then braved on to church, mall, airport and everywhere else. So for the next month or so, please do not reject our request to cut queue in the ladies.

Gingerbreadman
The Unfortunate Fate of the Gingerbreadman.
Gingerbread are really not that nice to eat,
if not for the icing.

Countdown 2009/2010
11.15pm Departing for our countdown.
Mii is sad every 31st Dec since we moved out of The Bayshore. Not being able to watch the flares set off by the ships out at sea at the stroke of midnight, we drove out to the Marina Bay area, hoping to catch the fireworks from our moon roof. Caught we did, in a jam instead, rendering us a view far from spectacular. The highlight of the evening was Joshua's underwear jokes.
