SuperStudio
Not your usual art class. Previously we learnt how carbon scrubbing trees are built in Boston City to clean the air we breathe. This week we learn about something more than merely recycling. Given a non biodegradable plastic bottle, we can recycle it by using it to contain drinking water or other liquids or substance. Today we think further and convert them into useful, eg to make it a boat, or support structure. To learn more, check out the classes!

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserves
6pm "Mummy, I need to bring binoculars for outing tomorrow."
The communication books says to bring if we have. We do not, so we shall not bring. Thought Mummy. But no, I want to bring my own binoculars. So with two hours before the night ends, she say lets visit the heartland mall. Not wanting me to belong to the "kids without bino", she prayed that the one and only stationery shop there has a decent bino. Thanks God it has! So I proudly brought my very own bino to school. Almost every kid has one. Phew, says Mum.
There is plenty of instructions to prepare for outing. Yellow tee, long pants, ponytail with cap, water bottle with sling, binoculars, mosquito patch, covered shoes. Trust me to recite these the night before and the moment I spring up in the morning.

Potato in Pyjamas
For those who watched Despicable Me will know this minion named Papoi. I did not, so I called it Potato in Pyjamas. Daddy caught it at an arcade claw machine. I was hoping he catches something cute, but instead he caught this potato that I do not like. SO what do we do with it? We gave it to Joshua, who enjoy its company much more than me. I am happy I got rid of it, he is happy to inherit it!

Little India
My father, wanted to buy some Indian mangoes, and brought me to Mustafa. I asked the cashier, "Why are there so many Indians here. Why are there no English here?" Mummy almost fainted. Thankfully when the cashier asked if I like to come here. I minutely nodded my head.
By the way, I cannot believe that this is a mall that never close. That we can stay there forever and ever. No way.

Night Safari Again!
Thanks for SCB, we have again another eight free tickets to the Night Safari. Of course, we invited our favourite family and had a very favoured outing. First we had free tram ride, which was otherwise not included in the free tickets. Then, as our group had kids, we got to sit right in front of the commentator. Many of the animals were very active that night and gave us an eye-ful. For the animal show, we sat second row, right where the SNAKE was hidden, giving us a "frightful" experience. Actually, it was not too frightful, as I knew the sequence of the night show all too well.
Our time at the Night Safari have always been delightful. The last time we visited with another family of six, we had a personal guide for part of the Night Safari walking trail. : ) Very blessed!

Madagascar 3
School's Closed for Staff Training.
We planned a zoo trip. Never have been this well prepared for the zoo. Itinerary planned to the tee catching just the animal show we want to watch, animal feeding time, waterplay, snack, sun block, everything we need for the day stuffed into a haversack.
And it rained.
So we watched Madagascar instead. Totally enjoyed the show, and my favourite character is Gia, the circus leopardess. The truth be told, I think we enjoyed chilling in the movie theatre over a jumbo salted and sweet popcorn, than roughing it out at the zoo. : )
